As a practice this means we will, at an early stage in each project:
- Inform clients of the environmental potential within their proposals, utilising our bespoke 'Green Briefing Checklist'. We can then suggest a number of site-specific options for the project.
- Discuss the different options available with the client, to ensure value for money as well as realistic and measurable carbon savings. This includes upgrading on refurbishment projects.
- Encourage developers to consider the merits of recognised standards, including 'Ecohomes' and the 'Code for Sustainable Homes', on their schemes.
